CHICAGO — Uber Chopper recently launched and to promote the service, they are offering 15-minute flights over Chicago. To sweeten the deal, all flights come with drinks and appetizers to quench your hunger.
Chicago Helicopter Experience has teamed up with Uber as the sub-contractor and is offering flights between 1:30pm and 3pm. To claim your ride, open the Uber mobile app and enter promo code CHOPPERCHI.
Flights are in limited supply, but if you are lucky enough to get a ride, an UberX car will pick you up and drive you to 2420 South Halstead Street where a helicopter will meet you on the helipad.
Flights begin at the Bridgeport location and fly passengers to Montrose harbor and back to the origin helipad.
Of course, you can still ride to the helipad by having an Uber driver pick you up. If there are no Ubers available, try calling a Lyft driver.
